    Generally, conventional LDOs consist of a voltage reference, an error amplifier, a voltage sensing network mostly implemented by a voltage divider, and a PMOS pass transistor. The pass transistor is controlled by the error amplifier, which compares the reference voltage and the feedback voltage from the output, and amplifies the difference.
