Keepers at a Wisconsin zoo are on the hunt for a pair of otters that escaped from their enclosure under cover of a snowstorm.

SUAMICO, Wis. ( WBAY /Gray) - A zoo in Wisconsin is searching for river otters who escaped from their enclosure during a winter storm. The NEW Zoo in Suamico, Wisconsin, reported two of their North American river otters, Louis and Ophelia, escaped early Thursday morning.

A pair of otters dug their way to freedom at a Wisconsin zoo and are still on the loose days later. The North American river otters, Louie and Ophelia, escaped their enclosure under cover of a snowstorm on Thursday, March 20, the New Zoo & Adventure Park, in Green Bay, said in a Facebook post.
