D.G. Yuengling & Son Inc., the oldest brewery in America, is expanding into Illinois liquor stores for the first time, making its beer available on draft and in cans and bottles.

The rollout includes Yuengling Lager and Flight by Yuengling on draft in bars and restaurants statewide. Three additional Yuengling varieties will be available in stores starting in March.

The Yuengling Company announced Thursday a continuation of its westward expansion by debuting several of its iconic brands, including its flagship Lager, in Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma.

The Pottsville company has remained family-owned and operated since 1829. After the draft rollout, Yuengling fans in Illinois will be able to buy cans and bottles in stores starting in early March.
