Former Twins player Brian Dinkelman named new baseball manager for Wichita Wind Surge
After spending the past five seasons as the manager for the Twins High-A club, Dinkelman is moving on up in the organization.

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — The Wichita Wind Surge is getting its second manager in the franchise’s history. The Minnesota Twins announced that Brian Dinkelman will take over leading the Twins’ Double-A affiliate. He replaces Ramon Borrego, who was promoted to the Twins Major League staff.
Wind Surge stadium to be renamed after Equity Bank
Wichita’s City Council passed a measure on Tuesday that changes the names of the home of the Wichita Wind Surge from Riverfront Stadium to Equity Bank Park. The team and the bank formed a naming rights partnership through 2039.
Wichita’s downtown baseball stadium has a new name ahead of 2025 Wind Surge season
In addition to Wind Surge home games, Equity Bank Park remains committed to being a year-round facility for all kinds of events for Wichita. The downtown ball park has hosted everything from concerts to football and soccer games to weddings and receptions to graduations and corporate trade shows.
