The Tribal Chief is set to return to SmackDown next in week in Bologna, Italy. It was announced by WWE last month that Roman Reigns would be joining the 'Road to WrestleMania' Tour across Europe, starting with the 3/21 episode of Friday night SmackDown,

The Tribal Chief will return to WWE SmackDown on March 21, with three matches also set for the episode. Reigns, the cover star for WWE 2K25, returns to SmackDown in Bologna, Italy on Friday, March 21.

CM Punk responds to Roman Reigns. Roman Reigns returned on the March 10th episode of WWE Raw and attacked CM Punk and Seth Rollins after they faced each other in a Steel Cage Match. On the March 14th episode of WWE SmackDown, Paul Heyman said that Roman Reigns would appear live on the March 21st episode of WWE SmackDown in Bologna.

In the midst of a brutal steel cage main event between Seth Rollins and CM Punk, Reigns made a shocking return, dragging Rollins out of the cage to hand him the win—only to unleash a relentless beating on him outside the ring.

After his shocking return on Monday Night RAW on Netflix, WWE's Roman Reigns sent a message to fans. He posted an image of him and his Wiseman, Paul Heyman, backstage at Madison Square Garden. Reigns is demanding acknowledgment from the WWE Universe.

Fans and insiders were perfectly aware that the return of Roman Reigns was now imminent. At the beginning of 2025, the former world champion had defeated Solo Sikoa in the first episode of Raw on Netflix and had been among the protagonists of the men's Royal Rumble match in early February.
