The company made cool, versatile, affordable smartwatches a decade ago, before shutting down in late 2016 and selling most of its assets to Fitbit (which itself was acquired by Google in 2021). Now, Pebble is back — sort of.

The Pebble watches are back and you can pre-order them as well right now. That said, this might not be technically the right way to describe the situation considering that Google is the current owner of the Pebble brand.

Pebble has launched two new PebbleOS smartwatches — the Core 2 Duo and Core Time 2 that follow the same DNA of the original Pebble watches.
