Baseball America released its top 100 list Wednesday, and Dodgers right-hander Roki Sasaki was unsurprisingly crowned as the No. 1 prospect in the sport after leaving Japan for Los Angeles this offseason. Basallo, a catcher and first baseman, is listed at No. 14 as the top catching prospect in baseball. Mayo, a corner infielder, fell to No. 29.

Baseball America released its Top 100 prospects list today, and four Mets made the list: Jett Williams (58), Brandon Sproat (61), Jesus Baez (92), and Nolan McLean (99). Last week, Baseball Prospectus released their Top 101,

No MLB team has a better catching prospect than the Orioles’ Samuel Basallo. And no team has a better third base prospect than the Orioles’ Coby Mayo. Still, their futures in Baltimore are uncertain.
