Starbucks longs for the days when cafes were for sitting and sipping. But the growth of some competitors is a reminder that there's still money to be made in serving hot drinks quickly.
Earlier in October, an apparent Starbucks worker with the Reddit handle DarthSpoopy posted a (now-deleted) photo of what appears to be the company's "short" holiday cups on the r/Starbucks subreddit.
In Singapore, Starbucks sells a hojicha-tea based frappuccino that can't be found in the US. The frappuccino was first released in Japan in 2017, and was initially made with caramel sauce.
