ROCKY FORD, Colo. (KRDO) - The Rocky Ford Police Department (RFPD) says one of their officers is recovering from a skull fracture and severe facial injuries after a suspect allegedly attacked him.

Bell of Rock Falls. An autopsy was conducted on Wednesday and a homicide investigation is underway, per an RFPD press release. A suspect has not been identified at this time, police said.
