Whenever I need a book recommendation, I always turn to Reese Witherspoon. From rare memoirs to page-turning thrillers, the 48-year-old actress has shared her passion for reading through Reese’s Book Club (even if she got one pick wrong).

The actor has selected The Three Lives of Cate Kay by Kate Fagan and it’s said to be the perfect immersive reading, making it a great pick for the slow month of January. The character-driven novel has drawn comparisons to The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo meets First Lie Wins, so you can trust it to be a page-turner.
