Officers were dispatched to the area after an argument between Jackson and two women led to shots being fired.

One person was killed in a shooting in the 5400 block of Longfellow Drive in Baton Rouge on Wednesday afternoon, a police spokesperson said. Terry Wayne Jones, 35, was shot multiple times around 3:24 p.m. and died at the scene, according to the Baton Rouge Police Department.

The Baton Rouge Police Department is investigating after officers responded to a shooting in the 2000 block of O’Neal Lane on Tuesday, Dec. 31. According to police, William Bradford, 44, was shot and taken to the hospital but later died from his injuries.
