So soon after Specter Divide, a multiplayer shooter developed by Mountaintop Studios, announced its pending shut down which will take its studio with it, is yet another live-service game going offline. Today, Star Wars: Hunters developer Zynga announced the game will be sunset on October 1st.

Hunters is set to shut down, leaving players with a set amount of time to enjoy the game while it's still playable.

Zynga has announced that it will be shutting down servers for the free-to-play shooter Star Wars: Hunters on 1st October 2025.

Zynga will end service for free-to-play arena shooter Star Wars: Hunter on October 1, the publisher announced. The game’s final content update will launch on April 15.
