Add in 1/2 cup cold water and 1/2 cup vodka—peppermint vodka works perfectly for that extra minty kick. Pour the red mixture into small shot glasses or mini muffin tins, filling them about halfway.

You can garnish this shot by laying a peppermint patty over it. If you don't have creme de cacao you could also use a chocolate vodka.
