After closing about 700 stores, Advance Auto Parts is now planning to open at least 100 new additional stores through 2027.

The move comes just months after the automotive parts retailer announced it was closing more than 700 locations in a strategic optimization plan. Despite swirling economic uncertainty—and tariffs that could hit the auto parts industry particularly hard—one large auto parts retailer is gearing up for expansion.
