Update: With the Trump administration announcing a series of sweeping “Liberation Day” tariffs that come after the previously announced 25% on foreign-made cars and auto parts, it seems like a good time to revisit the most “American” cars on the market today.

On top of that, Trump has already enacted 25% tariffs on steel and aluminum shipped to the US and he’s threatened to impose tariffs on copper. All three metals are needed to make cars, therefore, tariffs on those will also raise the cost of making a car.
