MANSFIELD — A second day into the town’s water emergency, residents appeared in droves Monday at the public works facility off East Street to pick up up a free case of water.
The hydrant-to-hydrant connection with Mansfield cost the city nearly $80,600 before it was shut down the morning of Feb. 25, according to Acting Water Superintendent Matthew Crotty.
