J.Jill has hired the head of another preppy clothing chain to be its new chief executive starting May 1.
J.Jill has chosen Mary Ellen Coyne as its new CEO, replacing retiring CEO Claire Spofford, who will step down on April 30, 2025.
Coyne spent nearly 10 years as chief executive officer of J.McLaughlin where she was instrumental in modernizing and growing the brand.
