The handover marks India’s first High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) transmission project awarded to the private sector through the Tariff-Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) process.
The two projects, LanWin7 and a part of NordOstLink, worth about $1.02 billion are expected to be called off in 2026-27.
