Checking in on Honolua Bay, and yes, it’s still as gorgeous as ever. Last weekend, the fabled bay and the righthand reefbreak once again hosted one of the more well-attended surf contests on Maui.

More than a hundred entrants across 12 age divisions were on hand for the 2025 Legends of the Bay event presented by Honolua Surf Co. and the Hawaii Surfing Association’s Maui chapter.
