At HP Amplify on Tuesday, the company unveiled new entries in the ZBook professional lineup, including the new flagship ZBook Fury G1i mobile workstations.

HP will soon drop its first 18-inch mobile workstation, the ZBook Fury G1i, with Nvidia's new "Blackwell" RTX Pro 5000 GPUs for serious content-creation punch. I opened up this beast ahead of its reveal.

HP launched its new ZBook Fury G1i at the HP Amplify Conference 2025 today, and it comes in a brand-new 18" size.

The Omen 16 Slim aims to do exactly what its name suggests – take the experience of using the excellent Omen 16 and simply slim it down a little. HP says it'll be 16% thinner than the full-sized Omen 16, which might not sound like much but should be extremely noticeable on the lap or in a backpack.

Taking on the likes of the Asus ROG Zephyrus G16, the HP Omen 16 Slim comes with a sleeker, 16% thinner design compared to the Omen 16, but it still manages to boast up to an Intel Core i9 CPU and Nvidia RTX 5070 GPU. Plus, it aims to stay quiet under pressure, with noise levels as low as a claimed 46 decibels.

A superb display and funky keyboard, let down by poor battery life and the loudest cooling system in the business.
