Memories is one of Google Photos' standout features, and now, thanks to an update, you can share them as video files even with people who don't have the app. But Memories in their default state can feel underwhelming.

The Google Photos app is testing a new Quick Edit page that makes it easier to enhance or crop a photo before sharing it.

Google is starting to develop a feature in Photos that lets users decide which faces they'd like to "see more" of in Memories. The feature was reportedly spotted in version 7.12 of the Photos app and is placed alongside the "hide faces" option in a picture's description box.

Google is now working on a new toggle to allow sharing of non-camera media files with your partner.
