After weeks of rumors, Tom Holland has officially confirmed when Spider-Man 4 is set to start filming and when it will release.

Tom Holland has spoken about his role in Christopher Nolan's upcoming film, likening his experience to his role as Spider-Man. Holland's involvement in Nolan's follow-up to the acclaimed Oppenheimer was announced earlier this week, with the actor set to appear alongside Matt Damon in the currently untitled project.

Nobody’s said anything about Holland doing any duties in the wider MCU at the moment—the ending of his third main series film provided a very overt escape hatch for him ever appearing again, in fact—but given that the Avengers and Spider-Man brands have been two of the biggest and most consistent hitters the franchise has got,
