You can now track other people through it as well as your gadgets, making it easier to coordinate meet-ups with friends or check that the kids have arrived home safely.

Earlier this month, Google announced the ability to see someone's location using the Find My network. It appears that a wide rollout of that feature is here, as it's showing up for more and more users.

To begin sharing your location with someone new, tap the plus (+) icon above the People tab, set the duration, select the contacts, and tap Share. You can choose duration options such as 1 hour, today, until you turn this off, or you can set a custom duration.
