Large CRT TVs are extremely heavy ... This could be delivered over component cables, or even HDMI, depending on the model. The thing is, these TVs are generally not great for retro gaming.

From British TV detector vans half a century ago to 1980s scare stories about espionage, it was certainly easy enough to detect an analogue CRT with nothing more than an AM broadcast radio receiver.

So when we saw this retro portable TV turned into a cyberdeck ... but none that dared use a CRT monitor. It may be a far cry from HDMI, but we really appreciate that [Lucas] chose this way ...

Consider using HD CRT TVs for optimal display quality with PlayStation ... PlayStation 3 and the first models didn't even have an HDMI port! You had to use component cables to get a high ...
