Veteran Chicago blues musician Barry Goldberg, who collaborated with Bob Dylan, Stephen Stills, and many others, has died at age 83.

Goldberg, a self-effacing musician who specialized in blues-based songwriting and keyboard playing and was a go-to musician for many rock and pop greats, died Wednesday at 83 from non-Hodgkin lymphoma.

Barry Goldberg, the blues and rock keyboardist, songwriter, and producer who worked with artists from Percy Sledge to the Ramones to Bob Dylan, is dead. Goldberg died in hospice care after 10 years battling non-Hodgkin lymphoma,
