Discount retailer Ollie's Bargain Outlet is pursuing an expansion plan that it plans to complete during fiscal year 2025

Ollie's reported fourth-quarter comparable store sales rose 2.8% year-over-year, topping Visible Alpha estimates of 2.58%. Adjusted earnings per share (EPS) of $1.19 matched expectations. Revenue increased 2.8% to $667.1 million, missing forecasts.

Ollie's Bargain Outlet Holdings, Inc. OLLI reported in-line earnings for the fourth quarter on Wednesday. The company reported fourth-quarter adjusted earnings per share of $1.19, in line with the analyst consensus estimate. Quarterly sales of $667.1 million (up 2.8% year over year) missed the analyst consensus estimate of $674.5 million.

The popular discount chain will open its second Vermont store later this month in the spot where Big Lots used to be. Ollie's also has stores in Springfield and Plattsburgh.

This story was corrected to show Ollie's new Linton location opened in 2024. After Big Lots announced they would be closing stores as a result of their Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing, Ollie's Bargain Outlet is acquiring 40 more of those store leases.
