Of course if you want to make your bacon fresh, I won’t stop you but feel free to use pre-cooked for some truly easy prep.

Pea Salad is such a classic spring salad ... Set aside. Chop slices of bacon into pieces. Crisp bacon pieces in a small skillet or whole slices of bacon in the air fryer. Dice the red onion.

Wash and gently dry the pea shoots ... cook the diced bacon until crisp. Scoop out with a slotted spoon and drain on some kitchen paper towelling before tipping into the salad.
