Kohl's is temporarily not accepting Amazon returns at some department stores, the company confirmed to media outlets Wednesday.

For those with a Kohl’s store near them, returning an Amazon order has been vastly less challenging than trying to repack the item, taking it to a package carrier, and hoping that you labeled it correctly.

The once-popular retailer has been accepting Amazon and other third party returns inside its fleet of stores at a "Return Drop" station for several years.

Modern Retailer reported that stores in Eau Claire, Leominster, Mass. and Washington, Mo. are involved in the test. Kohl’s started accepting Amazon returns in October 2017 as a way to get people in the stores, and by 2019 the company expanded the service to nearly every store.
