Before the countdown to the Switch 2 direct officially ends April 2nd, Nintendo has some games to get off its plate before we can begin the company’s next generation feast. Nintendo will host a 30-minute Direct showcase featuring games that will keep the vanilla Switch warm in the twilight of its last days as Nintendo’s premier console.

Today's Nintendo Direct was supposed to be focused on the original Switch, but it told us a lot more about the Switch 2 and what to expect from it.
