Scottish actor Rory McCann, best known for playing the burly brute The Hound on HBO’s Game of Thrones, will replace late actor Ray Stevenson for a second season of Star Wars show Ahsoka, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.

McCann’s acting career spans decades, with notable roles in films like XXX: Return of Xander Cage, Clash of the Titans, Jumanji: The Next Level, and Gladiator II. On television, McCann’s credits include Shameless, The Legend of Vox Machina, and Knuckles, a Sonic the Hedgehog spin-off.

The first season of Ahsoka came to an end back in 2023 with plenty of questions still unanswered for Star Wars fans with a Disney+ subscription.
