More than 18 months since its predecessor launched, the latest evolution of the Adidas Adizero Adios Pro range has been unveiled: the Adizero Adios Pro 4. With fresh, speed-focused design features, Adidas isn't holding back on its intentions here: this is a shoe designed to break records – whether that’s a world or a personal best.

The Adidas Adios Pro 4 features some big updates on its predecessor, and will sit in the Adidas range as its best carbon plate running shoe for the masses, below the incredibly expensive and exclusive Adidas Adizero Adios Pro Evo 1, which is mainly for elite runners.

The Adidas Adizero Adios Pro 4 will launch as the brand’s newest super shoe, borrowing learnings from the Adizero Adios Pro Evo 1 while introducing fresh technologies in the upper and outsole. Alongside the racer comes the Adizero Evo SL, a brand-new trainer that also adopts elements of the Evo 1 but foregoes any stiffening elements.

Luckily, the Pro 4 takes many of the features on the Evo 1 and brings us what is the best Adidas road racing shoe I’ve ever worn. Straight from the box, the shoe feels ultra-light (200g) and super responsive.
