The Texas football team began its spring drills Tuesday at Denius Fields with the first of 15 practices permitted by the NCAA. The Longhorns opened their doors to the media for a viewing period of about 20 minutes.

AUSTIN — Texas opened its spring football workout Wednesday morning with its first of 15 practices and showed a lot of athleticism and speed but also revealed that the Longhorns won’t replace their depleted wide receiver corps overnight.

Things certainly look fresh for the 2025 college football season as the Texas Longhorns begin their first spring practice on March 25, 2025.
