The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has reportedly targeted a manufacturer of poppers, an inhalant drug that has gained increasingly mainstream popularity as an adjunct to clubbing and sexual activity.

While poppers have previously been incorrectly linked to AIDS in the LGBTQ+ community — an unfounded stance Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., has doubled down on despite lacking evidence — the misuse of poppers has been linked to adverse health effects.

Double Scorpio, a popular brand of "poppers," has stopped operations after a search and seizure from the FDA, it said on Friday.

The Food and Drug Administration just crashed the poppers party, and seems to be shutting it down. According to Fast Company, the FDA recently executed a search and seizure at the offices of Double Scorpio, a major brand of poppers. As a result of the FDA's actions, the company stated, Double Scorpio has stopped all operations.
