Since its first episode aired in 1965, the daytime soap opera Days of Our Lives has seen its fair share of actors joining and leaving the series. But it appears that a recently announced departure from the show will be a gain for another soap that’s currently on the air.

Billy Flynn is leaving Days of Our Lives. The actor who first joined the Peacock sudser in 2014 to play Chad DiMera is moving to CBS’ The Young and the Restless in a new role. He will debut sometime this spring on the daytime drama.
