At the bottom of the second inning, Astros' Yainer Diaz was at the plate on a 2-0 pitch and sent the ball veering toward the right field line near the stands. Angels' Mike Trout jumped up at the wall, reached over and caught the ball, but less than a second later, an Astros fan forcibly ripped the ball out of Trout's glove.

In a repeat of Betts' infamous foul-ball catch in Game 4 of the 2024 World Series, in which a pair of New York Yankees fans unceremoniously ripped a caught ball out of the Los Angeles Dodgers All-Star's glove, Trout caught a foul ball against the Houston Astros on Saturday only for it be yanked out.

Mike Trout had an incident with an Astros fan in which the ball was seemingly ripped from his glove. But the Angels outfielder was classy.
